Welcome

A warm welcome to our brand-new school website!

Scoil Chríost Rí is an all-boys' primary school situated in the heart of Caherdavin, Limerick. We currently have over 300 boys enrolled. Our school is comprised of an enthusiastic, committed and dedicated staff of 36 members: Principal, 14 Mainstream Class Teachers, 10 Learning Support Teachers,  10 Special Needs’ Assistants, Secretary and Caretaker.

Our school ethos encourages the holistic education of the child where all talents, gifts and aspirations are developed. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and homely environment for all pupils in our school. Here at Scoil Chríost Rí, we are very proud of the achievements of all our pupils – past and present! So many talented athletes have started their sporting careers on the grounds of our school.

One of our school’s main goals is the happiness of all our children. We encourage this through all curricular and extra-curricular activities. From choir to soccer, tag rugby to draughts – we aim to cater for the interests of every child. We put a huge emphasis on the mental health of all our boys - the boys in our school engage in mindfulness on a weekly basis and we have been awarded the ‘Pieta House Amber Flag for Mental Health Awareness’ for the past 5 years. Check out the many extra-curricular activities offered under the ‘Activities’ tab!

We hope you enjoy visiting our school website – don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or queries!
