We have had a busy few weeks in 5th Class and we have all settled back to school life very well after the Christmas break. Spring has now sprung and we are all looking forward to the lengthening days.
The boys are currently engaging in project work on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is super to see the boys taking such ownership of their projects as they delve into researching the northern headlands, the surf coast, the cliff coast and the southern peninsulas.
The many stunning beaches along the Wild Atlantic Way have inspired us to create canvas paintings of a sea scape. This is a staged project and the boys are working slowly and carefully with their canvas pieces.
We welcomed John Ryan who teaches the stories of the Old Testament through various hand signals and this was thoroughly enjoyed by all who were present.
Friday basketball resumed today and it is a part of the school week that the boys love.
