On the 24th of March we all gathered in the halla to listen to the fantastically talented musicians form Limerick Music Generation. They got the whole class rocking! They played a huge variety of songs to entertain us, songs such as Wagon Wheel, We Will Rock You, When the Saints Go Marching In and Spancil Hill. They played some Irish tunes and we danced a few steps, they also played a bit of rock and roll music and we join in and played air guitar.
Throughout the year we watched the videos that the music generation send to our class. They were very enjoyable and informative. We learned about tempo, style, scale, pitch and genre. Coupled with our new music programme Dabbledoo we are music experts this year!!
