3rd class were very busy during the months of October and November. In October our class were invited to the Credit Union to celebrate International Credit Union Day. The boys received ice – cream , treats and hot chocolate. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the morning.
During October the boys also took part in a Brick4Kids Workshop for maths week. They had to use lego to build a motor car and then incorporated their maths skills by measuring the distance and speed of the car. The boys had lots of fun.
In the month of November the boys were learning all about procedural writing. They had to write instructions about how to make a sandwich and then follow their instructions. They did very well and learned the importance of giving clear and precise instructions.
