What a busy few weeks we had in the last few weeks…
- All the boys participated in the Féile Luimní. They all did a wonderful job and we were all very proud of them. Well done to the boys who won medals and certificates and we hope all of the boys enjoyed the homework off to celebrate too!
- We enjoyed the St Patrick’s Day parade around the school and neighbourhood!
- We continued celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge with a super Caife Gaelach. We came together with 3rd and 4th to practice our Gaeilge and had some tea and biscuits too!
- The boys absolutely loved Multicultural Day! What a fantastic and informative day for the whole school community. We learnt about lots of different cultures in our school and in our own classroom too. Well done to all the boys who participated and many thanks to all the parents who helped out!
- A huge thank you to the Caherdavin Credit Union who invited our class down to celebrate the opening of their new offices. The boys had ice cream and hot chocolate and loved being out and about in the community! Many thanks again to the staff of Caherdavin Credit Union.
- We enjoyed the run up to Easter by making lovely Easter art and enjoying some treats too! We also look a trip to the church to have a look at the Stations of the Cross and say a prayer before the Easter holidays.
- It was great to see the boys back to school this week - happy and well rested after the Easter break. The boys helped out hugely this week by helping set up our school’s new iPads and Chromebooks! We can’t wait to get started using them next week.
- We also learnt all about Earth Day and made some super art on Friday.
Well done boys, keep up all the fantastic work! I’m sure we have lots and lots of more fun to look forward to in Term 3!
