Our footballers took on neighbours JFK in a thrilling semi-final. CTK got off to a superb start as they played their way to a 2-4 to 0-0 half-time lead with the aid of a strong wind.
JFK didn’t give up. They gradually gained a foothold in the game with the wind at their backs. With two minutes remaining, JFK reduced our lead to three points. CTK held out with fierce determination and hunger to book a place in the final.
Final score at Na Piarsaigh, CTK 2-6 JFK 3-0
The final is set to take place the week we return from the Easter break.
